Griffyn has started tag rugby on Monday afternoons. It really is quite exciting:) As heaps of under 10's try and figure out what to do running every which way I laugh and cheer and can't wait to get home for dinner.
A few ideas were rolling around in my head - I know I can't even watch my son play a sport without thinking lol! Sport is so much like life. You gear up to win (and in under 7's everyone wins which is NOT life) and then play people you have never met and because it is a sport game you "hate" this newly introduced people.
I don't know it just made me feel odd. There is Griffyn diving for tags of other players and all of a sudden the other team gets really angry. I guess they need to learn that that IS the way the game is played.
Griffyn wouldn't stop talking about the game for the next hour or two. And just like life when there is something exciting, good, or bad we obsess about it even though we can't do anything about it.
